Step 1 :
Connect your Xiaomi device to the same WiFi network to which your PC or Laptop broadband / WiFi is connected.
Step 2:
Open Your File Explorer in your Device.
Your Device screen will look like this.
Step 3:
Then tap on the FTP button at the bottom of screen.
Step 4:
Then your Screen will look like the image shown below,then click on Start Server.
Step 5:
After Clicking on Start Server your Devive will display a FTP code.
Step 6:
Then open My Computer on your PC/Laptop. Then click on bar as shown in image below.
Step 7:
Then clear my computer written on the bar. Then write the same FTP code on the bar.
And then press Enter.
Step 8:
Wolaa !!! Your Device is now connected to your PC/Laptop.
Enjoy the file transfer between your PC/Laptop and the Device.
Step 9:
After transferring files, then tap the Stop Server button on your Device to disconnect your device from your PC/Laptop.
And you are done with it.
When doing it for First time it would take you time to understand the process, after few times you have done the process you would enjoy this process and forget that old process to connect your Device through USB cable.
